Memorial Day

Monday, May 30, 2022: Pay homage to people who long ago died, who were absolutely willing to be fearless

Hey! It’s Julianne Murray and I am here for our Murray Monday Minute.

This week I was supposed to continue talking about the structure of the office of the Attorney General, but I am going to push it back a week for something more important.

What is that? Memorial Day. Why? Because it is that important.  This is about honoring people that have given up their lives for our freedom.

Think about that for a second. In today’s 24-hour divisive toxic environment; think about giving up your life for somebody else.

Pause on Monday.  Put all of that other stuff aside on Monday and pay homage to people who long ago died, who were absolutely willing to be fearless.

That’s fearless, walking onto a battlefield knowing that you may die in doing it anyway.  We could only hope to be that fearless.
