Hey, it’s Julianne Murray and I am here for our Murray Monday Minute.
13 weeks to go. If those who do not know 13, I love that number. We are on the countdown, 13 more weeks.
This week, it is called action speak louder than words.
My opponent has said: she wants to keep gun violence out of communities. Great words! Let us talk about actions.
Two different crimes:
Possession of firearm during commission of a felony.
Possession of firearm or ammunition by Person Prohibited.
In 2019, she dropped 90% of the possession of firearm during commission of felony cases and under Person Prohibited 83% [dropped].
In 2020, on the firearm cases 87% [dropped], Person Prohibited 83% [dropped].
In 2021, 92% of the possession of the firearm cases [dropped] and 83% of the person prohibited cases [dropped].
Now, those numbers, we’ve taken off the ones that were still pending, so that we got a true number and they are really, really bad.
Actions. Words.
I told you I was going to be fearless.
Fearless out!
