Senate Bill 320

Monday, June 27, 2022: It is basically a No-excuse Vote-by-Mail Bill

Hey, it’s Julianne Murray and I am here for our Murray Monday Minute.

Last week we talked about the constitutionality like US Constitution, Delaware Constitution, and laws and I talked about HB450 and what I am talking about is that a state law has to be in agreement or not violate the Delaware Constitution or the US Constitution.

This week, we are going to talk about something called SB3201 [AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 15 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ELECTIONS].

The senate has already passed it.  It is basically a No-excuse Vote-by-Mail Bill.  The house is hearing it tomorrow.  Everybody ought to be speaking to their representatives.  This is a big deal because it is a No-excuse Vote-by-Mail.

The Delaware Constitution actually is very specific that you have to have a specific reason for Absentee Voting.

Vote-by-Mail and Absentee Voting are basically the same.

So, it’s going to be interesting.  I am sure it’s going to be challenged.

I told you I was going to be fearless.

Fearless out!

Next Monday: Happy Independence Day >
