Hey, it’s Julianne Murray and we are here for our Murray Monday Minute.
One of the questions that I’ve been asked is, what is one of my highest priorities if I am going to be the Attorney General for the State of Delaware?
I’ll tell you what it is: we have to prioritize public safety.
Here is the reality. We the people have to worry when we walk to our cars in the parking lot or down the street in our neighborhoods. We have to think about what happens if an angry mob surrounds our car.
There‘s two reasons why that’s happening. At least two reasons.
we have a shortage of law enforcement.
we have defendants that aren’t being secured while their charges are pending.
Next time, we will talk about what I am going to do about those two issues.
