Happy Independence Day

Monday, July 4, 2022: If you’ve never read the Declaration of Independence, you need to - it is the basis of everything that we have today

Hey, it’s Julianne Murray and I am here to do our Murray Monday Minute.

It is the 4th of July, hence the shirt.

Lots of people saying Happy 4th of July.  What they should be saying is: Happy Independence Day.

For those that don’t know, a little bit of a history lesson coming. Declaration of Independence broke us away from Great Britain. The people who signed that were committing treason at the time.

When in the course of human events - if you’ve never read the Declaration of Independence, you need to. It is the basis of everything that we have today.

It is not the Constitution.  That is a different thing.  We the people in order to form a more perfect union.  It did not come around until 1787 and was ratified in 1788.

July 4, 1776, Declaration of Independence was adopted.  Amazing document for the time and what they knew and what they did not know, but built in.  Totally amazing!

Enjoy your freedom.  There were a whole lot of people who died for it.

I told you I was going to be fearless.

Fearless out!
